FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
  • Keo Bridal is based in Maryland, where each gown is designed with a bold, modern point of view. We work primarily by inquiry and through personalized virtual consultations rather than a traditional storefront.

Once a year, we host a very limited in-person try-on experience for a small group of brides who want to see a selection of gowns up close. Most brides begin by submitting an inquiry or booking a virtual consultation so we can learn about your style, timeline, and vision. Our email list is simply how we share details about the annual event when it comes around.

  • Most brides begin by falling in love with a gown first, then reaching out to us to explore what’s possible from there.

Once you inquire about a specific style, we guide you through customization options, sizing, timing, and next steps so you feel clear and confident before anything moves forward. The experience is personal and guided, but never overwhelming or transactional.

You’re not navigating this alone and you’re not handed off to a system. We stay closely connected throughout production so you always know what’s happening with your gown and what to expect next.

Our Process page shares a deeper look at how everything unfolds.

  • The experience is considered and well supported.

We recommend beginning about 10 to 12 months before your wedding date so everything has space to unfold comfortably.

Your gown is created over approximately 4 to 6 months, depending on the style and any customizations. Throughout that time, we stay connected so you feel informed and supported as your gown comes to life. When it’s ready, your gown is carefully prepared and shipped to you. Complimentary shipping is included within the United States, with international shipping available at an additional cost.

  • We know sizing can feel like the most uncertain part of ordering a gown without trying it on first. That’s why our approach is designed to feel guided, thoughtful, and clear.

Each gown is made based on the measurements you provide rather than standard sizing. We guide you through the measuring process and review everything with you before production begins so nothing feels rushed or confusing.

This is how our experience is designed to work from the start. Once your gown arrives, minor alterations are still a normal part of the process. This approach simply helps ensure your gown already reflects your proportions and feels intentional from the start.

For more detail on sizing, you can explore it here.

  • Yes. Many gowns offer thoughtful customization options, depending on the style. This may include adjusting the train length, refining the bodice, changing the color, creating detachable elements, or combining details from different Keo designs. For example, a ballgown can be reimagined as a mini, or elements from one style can be incorporated into another.

Each gown page outlines what’s available for that design. Some customizations may incur an additional fee based on complexity and materials. If you’re imagining something outside of what’s listed, include it in your inquiry and we’ll let you know what may be possible within the Keo Bridal collection. You’re welcome to upload up to three reference images with your inquiry to help us understand your vision.

  • We offer a range of appointment options, depending on where you are in your journey. Some brides begin with a complimentary designer chat to explore styles, timelines, or whether Keo Bridal feels like the right fit, while others choose a virtual consultation to go deeper into a specific gown, customization options, or next steps.

For brides who have already placed an order, we offer complimentary fitting support to assist with measurements or questions along the way. We also offer a limited in-home experience with a small selection of gowns for brides in Washington, DC, Northern Virginia, and Maryland.

To explore available appointment options, you can visit our Appointments page here.

  • Each Keo Bridal gown is made to order, with details selected specifically for you. For that reason, gowns are not eligible for return or refund once production has begun.

Our process is designed to support you in making a confident, informed decision before moving forward. Full terms and details are available here.
